Ashley and Inga launched Liberty Camps in June 2023 with the dream of putting their artistic imaginations to the test, creating one-off bespoke conversions that would create a lifetime of adventure.  

Ashley grew up in the Med on a small island called Malta, spending much of his youth jumping off cliffs into the clear blue waters the island has to offer. Naturally flamboyant, he grew fond of the hospitality sector and went on to work with in some beautiful spots around the island. His calling to move to Wales, his homeland, came about in 2013 and more importantly, his urge to build things really kicked off in 2022! Ever since, he has put all his energy into creating what today is called 'Liberty Camps'. 

Inga grew up in Lithuania, foraging with her grandmother and being artistic using any possible means. She and her twin sister moved to the UK to attend a school of arts at the age of 16 eventually graduating with a Masters degree in scenic art. She went on to work in Theatre for a few years before taking to the big screen with productions like Dr.Who & Young Sheldon among many others. Despite working the industry, she can't get enough of it and spends much of her waking hours deciding what to create next. 

The team would not be complete without our very own Nanny G! Barbara her real name, a previous pattern cutter for a company who supplied M&S and has been sewing her way through life ever since. Barbara is the mastermind behind all our upholstery needs, and behind us all for that matter, without her we wouldn't be creating these little homes on wheels.
